i based my poster on design idea 2. from this i have edited it making it more scary and to fit the genre more as well as keeping the image conveying the genre of the film. this was my first draft:
to improve this i took peoples opinions:
- add in a age rating so we know how old you have to be to see it
- change the font of the "prank" to something more scarier
- make the "prank" more bold and bigger so it really jumps out and grabs attention.
- have the credits italic so they look more like a real film posters as well as making them smaller
- add in a review from a daily source that everyone knows
